Earth Day always puts me in a strange spot.

I never quite know how to talk about sustainability without it sounding like a campaign. Or worse, a reason to run a sale.

The reality is, this has been the foundation of Light Provisions from the beginning. Not perfectly, but intentionally.

Materials, sourcing, production, and what happens to a product after it’s used have always mattered here, not just on April 22nd.

So instead of trying to say something big, I thought I’d keep it simple and share a few things I’m genuinely proud of:

Refill Candles

Designed to keep glass in use. The wax burns down into a full melt pool and resets the vessel for the next refill.

Reusable Glassware

Hand made, weighted, and beautiful. Designed to outlive your candle in the form of cocktails, matcha lattes, or whatever you fancy drinking.

 Incense Holders

Made from recycled glass, with each piece carrying a little history in the material.

Handmade Lighters

Built to be refilled and repaired rather than replaced. Spare parts are simple. Lifespan is long if maintained.

If you’ve supported any of this over the years, it does not go unnoticed.

With Light,

Brett

P.S. If you have questions about how anything is made or sourced, just reply. I’m always open about it.

On Repeat

Here in the Pitch by Jessica Pratt - a warm, summery, and modern Joan Baez psychodalia

Apres Coup by Laurie Torres - analog, piano, like what would play in a film flashback

Lean In by Art School Girlfriend - moody, noir electro - particularly good on rainy drives
