A lot has shifted behind the scenes at Light Provisions this past year. I’ve been narrowing the collection, making smaller batches, and letting go of the idea that every scent needs to stay forever.
Rosemary & Cedar is one of those scents that has been here for years. It has always felt like a very Light Provisions kind of candle to me: herbal, fresh, a little earthy, and never too sweet.
This final pour marks the end of its run.
It is not being retired because I stopped liking it, or because it stopped being a good scent. The collection simply needs to get smaller for the business to feel sustainable. Too many scents stretch everything thin, from production and storage to the constant mental list of what needs to be made next.
So this is Rosemary & Cedar’s last batch, and I wanted to send it off properly for the people who have kept it around.
The final batch is now on sale, with tins and samples 25% off and tumblers 20% off. I’ve also added steeper discounts to the last remaining stock of Tobacco Walnut, which is nearing the end of its own retirement sale.
Thanks, as always, for letting these scents have a place in your homes. It means a lot when something I made nearly 10 years ago still has people coming back for it.
With light, Brett
